NIEDS celebrated the 75th anniversary of Indian independence

NIEDS organized a number of activities to mark the 75th anniversary of our country’s independence. Thomas Unniyadan, president of NIEDS, raised the National flag in the courtyard. The patriotic event included patriotic songs and speeches on the freedom struggle. At the event, there were special prayers for the leaders of the freedom struggle as well as a felicitation and award ceremony. Prof. Jayaram, vice president, oversaw the event. Speakers were Dr. S. Sreekumar(Executive Vice President), Ghulam Muhammad, K. P. Devadas, Muhammad Ali Karukathala, Asalatha Teacher, and Sheikh Dawood. Sweets were distributed, and the NIEDS Courtyard was exquisitely decorated.
